SPECIAL SPEAKER Paula Holland De Long CPCC, ACC Founder/Survivor Life Coach Biography www.WhatsNextForMyLife.com Her personal battle with cancer inspired her to found What's Next For My Life, Inc., whose workshops and support products are offered at cancer treatment centers and support organizations and via teleconference to participants around the country. Her first book, the What's Next For My Life? Companion Journal for Cancer Patients has just been published and her second book will be released in Spring 2010. Cancer survivor, professional life coach, author and inspirational speaker Paula Holland De Long is an authority on how the lessons of survivorship can bring joy, passion and purpose to anyone's life. LUNCHEON SPEAKER Greg Fischer AvMed Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing "Health Reform Update Q&A" Biography Greg Fischer joined AvMed in July 2009 as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He will be responsible for leading the company's strategy as it relates to membership growth and retention in all markets around the state. Greg will also continue to build AvMed's brand in the marketplace. He has more than 15 years in the health plan arena. Greg previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Blue Cross & Blue Shield (BCBS) of South Carolina. There he was responsible for all marketing and sales in support of small group and individual products. Greg also has a solid background in health plan operations and systems. He started his managed care experience at BCBS working with their Palmetto subsidiary as Manager of Finance. Greg was then promoted to Assistant Vice President for the largest Third Party Administrator (TPA) in South Carolina, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BCBS. He later served as President of another TPA and BCBS subsidiary. Prior to BCBS, Greg held finance and accounting roles in the Federal Government. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management at the University of Maryland and completed his Masters in Business Administration at Webster University. Greg lives in Miami with his wife Diane. In Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Susan G. Komen - Breast Cancer Cure Foundation.
